Special Issue
Chemistry Innovations for a Sustainable Future Industries
The First International KFUPM Chemistry Conference, organized by the Chemistry Department of King Fahd University of Petroleum & Minerals (KFUPM) in collaboration with the American Chemical Society (ACS), will be held under the patronage of Dr. Muhammad M. Al-Saggaf, President
of KFUPM, from November 11–13, 2025, in Dhahran, Saudi Arabia.
In connection with this conference, a Special Issue of the Arabian Journal for Science and Engineering (AJSE) will be published, dedicated to the theme “Chemistry Innovations for a Sustainable Future Industries.” This issue will spotlight pioneering research addressing sustainability challenges through chemical sciences and engineering.

Processing of Manuscripts
Submitted papers should not have been previously published nor be currently under consideration for publication elsewhere.
All submissions will be checked for originality using “iThenticate” and Turnitin. No copied materials from any published sources, including the authors’ publications, are allowed in the new submissions.
All manuscripts will undergo the regular peer review process; acceptance for publication will be based on a minimum of two positive review reports and the positive report of the editor
Online publication of the special issue
The accepted papers in the Special Issue will be published online in 2026.
